Class Description: Are you ready?  You worked hard thru all the basics- History, English, Calculus, and Physics.  College is around the corner and Mom/Dad will be miles away.  This course will begin to prepare you for life.   You will use and apply skills from a Godly perspective to become a contributing, self-sustaining adult while having fun doing it!  Among the topics:

This class will use math, current events, and more.  A great lifetime basics course with practical learning.  You won’t be able to say ‘when will I ever use this?”

Objectives:  To be prepared to enter adulthood with practical financial and consumer savvy information.    We will have fun using current events to make learning even more relevant, and interesting.

Minimum/Maximum number of students: 5/16

Homework: Time will be allowed in class to do most assignments, but 15-30 minutes each night might be required to complete their personal budget and follow-thru

Cost:  $100 and $10 for handouts & Ramsey workbook

Bonus:  Parents, have you always wanted to get your student on a budget?  This class can help.  Each student will set up their own personal budget – using theories taught in class and any input parents would like to give.  Each budget will be kept private and a ‘faux’ budget will be assigned for those that would prefer that method.

Supplies that the students should bring to class:  1” binder w/ dividers, notebook paper, pen
