Education:
I have a BA from Trinity College in Washington, DC in International Relations with a concentration in US and European History. I attended Oxford University, England, where I completed studies in British History and Literature.
Work experience:
After graduation I worked as a lobbyist in Washington, DC. I also worked in an editorial capacity for a major political journal.
Personal:
I married Kurt nineteen years ago immediately after his graduation from the Naval Academy. We moved around with the Navy for a number of years and finally settled in North Texas 12 years ago. We began homeschooling our 4 sons 10 years ago. I have taught classes in history in a number of different homeschool settings. I have a passion for both the subject and for inspiring my students to a greater love of history.
